Interested in adopting?

To ensure that every inquiry receives thoughtful consideration, we initially accept pre-screening emails from the first five potential adopters. Once five inquiries have been received, further inquiries are temporarily closed while our team reviews the pending pre-screening information.

Potential adopters who appear to meet the animal’s needs and adoption criteria will be invited to complete a full adoption application. Receiving an application does not guarantee adoption, as our team will continue to assess which home is the most suitable long-term match.

Our adoptions are not completed on a first-come, first-served basis. The first five inquiries simply form the initial group reviewed. Our final decision is always based on which home is most likely to provide the safest, happiest, and most successful future for the animal.

If none of the applicants are the right fit, or an adoption does not proceed for any reason, the animal will become available for inquiries again.

We understand that people can quickly become attached to an animal after seeing their profile, and we sincerely appreciate every person who offers to provide a loving home. However, our responsibility is to make decisions based on what is best for each individual animal. This thoughtful matching process protects the wellbeing of the animals in our care and helps adopters find a companion who is genuinely suited to their home, family, and lifestyle.
