King Charles, a big ginger boy, was surrendered to care three months ago, and since then he has become a much-loved member of our extended community.

At eight years old, Charles is full of personality. He is playful, expressive, and very clear about being in charge — a confident “boss” with a big presence. Beneath that royal confidence, he is an incredibly affectionate boy who loves connection and will happily lean in for cuddles once he knows you are his person.

When Charles arrived, he required extensive dental treatment. This procedure was fully funded through community support to ensure he could live comfortably and pain-free moving forward. He will require annual dental check-ups to maintain his oral health.

Charles is currently on a therapeutic weight-management diet due to clinical obesity. His ongoing prescription nutrition has been generously sponsored by Purina Veterinary Diets and will continue to be supported for the remainder of his life — giving him every opportunity to regain and maintain a healthier weight.
